The Bridge Church Covid-19 Response Plan
November 20, 2020
We are monitoring the Covid numbers in the Dallas area and will respond as needed to changing risk factors. At this time we will continue to have limited in-person worship services at 1:30pm. The Community Bible Church building offers ample room and ventilation for gatherings of less than 50 people. We will continue to check temperatures, sign people in, require masks at all times, and observe distancing while on the premises. We appreciate everyone's support during these challenging times.
COVID-19 Guidelines for In-Person Worship Service
1. Each person will have their temperature checked upon entering the building.
2. Each person will wash or sanitize their hands upon entering the building.
3. Each person must wear a mask (surgical, N95, or cloth) at all times.

5. Each person or family who attends in-person worship service acknowledges the risk of being exposed or infected by COVID-19 and releases The Bridge Church from all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to the COVID-19 virus.

The Bridge Church is currently observing all Covid-19 measures for social distancing in order to best serve our community. We want to do all we can to reduce the spread of this virus. In the meantime, we will live stream our worship services on Sunday mornings at 10 am (CST) on The Bridge Church youTube channel. Please join us each Sunday as we continue to worship together even if we cannot be together in body.

Hello Bridge Family!
I’m sure you are all aware of the situation with the coronavirus and how it has been affecting the DFW area. In a desire to protect those most vulnerable in our communities, we will immediately suspend Sunday services and other church gatherings. This is not a decision that the leadership has taken lightly. We understand the desire of those who do want to continue to gather, in person, as a church body. However, as an act of wisdom and kindness towards others, we do not want to unknowingly continue to spread this virus and bring further harm to others. The leadership will be planning on a way to record future services and posting it on our YouTube page so that your families can worship together at home.
I want to note that we are not suspending our meetings out of fear or anxiety but with confidence knowing that our sovereign God will resolve this problem at the right time. We believe that He controls all things, including viruses, in His hands and we will continue to utilize His wisdom in navigating through this pandemic. Please take this time to be caring towards your neighbors and to be grateful for the many privileges we have as a church. Let us also pray for the most vulnerable in our country who may not have the resources we have in responding to this virus. Regardless of whether we meet in person, we are still Christ’s church wherever we are. We are called to be light and salt in the dark places around us. So, let us shine our light during this dark time and continue to serve God in our communities. We will stay connected through our Facebook and post new announcements regarding future services there.

It is apparent that the Covid-19 outbreak is going to continue and even worsen in the weeks ahead. We at the Bridge Church want to take every precaution and act wisely in light of this constantly evolving situation. We do not have any known cases in our community, but we want to be ready and aware.
We will be taking some very basic measures starting this week to mitigate the spread of this virus. At this time, we do not have plans to cancel our services, but we will alert all of you if and when this may be a necessary step.
For now, we will be making sure that our restrooms and kitchen are stocked with hand soap that is effective in killing the virus. We only ask that everyone be diligent in washing hands for at least 20 seconds whenever there is a chance for personal contact.
We will also be making sure to wipe down the necessary restroom, kitchen, and classroom surfaces with virucidal cleaners before each Sunday service. For the time being, we will also change the way we take up offering and administer Communion. We will make adjustments in these practices to minimize personal contact.
Let's be conscious about maintaining some personal space and greeting one another without direct contact. We know this does not mean we care less for one another. If you or anyone in your family is experiencing respiratory and flu-like symptoms, specifically: fever, aches/chills, cough, wheezing, difficulty breathing, and possibly even some gastrointestinal symptoms, please consult your doctor and refrain from attending services, small groups, or any other group gathering. Self-quarantining is an important measure to help mitigate the spread of the virus.
If any member has concerns about risk factors, please let us know. It may be best to refrain from joining group gatherings for the time being. Risk factors include age (the virus has adversely affected older patients, especially those over 70), immunosuppressed state due to illness or medication, respiratory illness (including pneumonia, bronchitis, COPD, and the like).
If you have any questions, please contact Sam Won at email@example.com or 214.991.9242.
Let's work together and for one another. #Coronavirus #Covid19
